Small Pond
One of the few times I saw water on the hike (not counting the times I was pouring my bottled water all over myself)

Comments:

This hike kicked my butt. I started at the boardwalk which turned out to be a very good move because it made the first half mostly uphill and the second half mostly downhill. If I'd have done it the other way there's no telling how long it would've taken me. There was lots of wildlife especially along the creek bed and plenty of shady spots to rest if needed. Can't wait to come back in the fall when there is water in the creek.
