Since we couldn't do old hancock we drove down here (I didn't have this printout) and found the trail. The picture map shows 8 miles on this peninsula but if you start at the beginning you can do about 3 in a loop. It is very hard to follow sometimes but use your best judgment you'll find the correct route. We saw the 1 mile map but then it headed out to the lake and we got lost and just went back. We should have followed the shore. Was hot but quite a bit of shade at least.
