This is more of an educational tour than a hike. We enjoyed the interaction and knowledge gained. Great sceanery, as you arrive in Kingsland! The hike intself is only between a quarter mile and a half mile.

This was another enjoyable hike. Walking through a housing community. Good architecture and inspired respect for sustainable use of the land. We parked at Sendero Springs Pool. Walked across the road to the trail head, did the loop around the water retentiona area, then back to the trail and up the divide in Great Oaks Drive. A short two blocks at the top of Great Oaks Dvive, back to the car, on the same raod that we drove in. Mostly crushed granite, lots of playgrounds and occasional benches to sit and rest. No hills.

Nice park with a fair amount of shade. Swimming pools looked very inviting, too. Trail, itself is crushed granite. Also a cement sidewalk for about .5 miles between picnic areas and playground.

Started at Upper Purgatory Access Road. Hiked Dante Trail 4.1 miles to Hunter Road. Crossed road for a smoothy break, then went back.
