Subjective, to be sure. But, Travel + Leisure readers have cast their votes for the 25 best US National Parks.

Grand Teton NP

Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Yosemite are the top three. In general I think most people would tend to agree on these. US Virgin Islands NP at #11 is the first surprise to me. Higher than Grand Canyon, Denali or Isle Royale.

And for some more subjectivity, a slightly different list. Not of US National Parks, but of state parks deemed to be as good as some of those national parks. According to Best Life here are 8 state parks that are even better than national parks.

Cloudland Canyon State Park - GA

Moran State Park - WA

Smith Rock State Park - OR
