Rank: Newbie Groups: Registered Posts: 1 Thanks: 1 times		Hello all, I'm a geology student at the University of Texas at Dallas studying precambrian rocks of Texas. I'm driving through Van Horn next week and was planning to hike around the Carrizo Mts just west of town. However I need to get to Tumbledown Mountain to check out a limestone formation but can't find the boundaries of public/private land. The last journal article describing the route was from the 1930's. I've seen some roads leading close but, again, can't tell if they are public or private. Has anyone hiked this? Any ideas about how to find this information is welcome. Thanks, Jordan
