Nice, easy
Bull Creek [Hiking] - 11/9/2014  [View Log Page]
Rating: 3stars Difficulty: 2stars Solitude: 1point5stars
Distance: 4.00 Miles Duration: N/A

I have hiked Bull Creek probably a thousand times and have explored every inch off trail.  When the park is empty is absolutely wonderfull.  I try to make sure I go some time other than summer.

Nice- if you take the single path
Williamson County Regional Park [Hiking] - 11/9/2014  [View Log Page]
Rating: 3stars Difficulty: 1star Solitude: 3stars
Distance: 4.00 Miles Duration: N/A

Off the mulch trail, I took the single path to the left, followed it along the barbed-wire fence, followed a few paths aff it and returned.  Strolled down the jeep road for almost 3/4 of mile.  Then took another single path to the right until I hit the main trail again.

Love this area
St. Edwards Park [Hiking] - 7/19/2014  [View Log Page]
Rating: 3point5stars Difficulty: 3stars Solitude: 3point5stars
Distance: 8.50 Miles Duration: N/A

The dog and I love this hike.  water is always flowing and after you get out of the main park area we almost never see anyone, except a horse or two on the trail.  Be sure and park in the actual parking lot to help protect your car from break-ins.  We cross over the raod hike up the other side and hike into Balcones reserve when it is open.  absolutely love the high trail that looks over everything.

Love this park
St. Edwards Park - Hill Trail [Hiking] - 7/9/2014  [View Log Page]
Rating: 3point5stars Difficulty: 3point5stars Solitude: 4stars
Distance: 8.00 Miles Duration: N/A

We (me and the dog, of course) hiked the entire trail, including cross over the road and hiking up the other side.  This hike can be challenging in spots coming down from Balcones Reserve it is very steep and you need to "climb" down.  Park in the parking lot to secure your vehicle.

nice, but HOT
Good Water Trail [Hiking] - 6/21/2014  [View Log Page]
Rating: 3point5stars Difficulty: 2point5stars Solitude: 2point5stars
Distance: 15.00 Miles Duration: N/A

I have done different sections at different times.  It is rough in spots, about first 2 miles in from TH you will run into hikers, walkers, runners in the early morning, but not many others after that.  The rocky parts at the beggining will kill you and your dogs feet.

After mile 2 there is about a mile of prairie opening that will bake your skin and brain-  I call it the death mile in the summer, but then you come the springs- even in the drought there is enough cold water trickle down the ferns to make life enjoyable again.
